Politicians from the US and a number of Western countries have called on Iran to ease its announced “revenge” Israel. However, Tehran refused such a request.

After the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Iran raised the “red flag of revenge”. The media has repeatedly reported that Iran is preparing for unexpected and severe revenge on Israel in the near future.

The United States and a number of countries have appealed to Iran

Washington has appealed to the governments of European and other partner countries to convey to Tehran an appeal to renounce escalation. However, Iranian officials said they “don't care if Israel's response triggers a full-scale war.”

According to Western and Arab diplomats, a serious attack on Israel will lead to a response, and restraint will give Iran's new president a chance to improve relations with the West. The message sent to Tehran also noted that the White House is pressuring Israel on this issue.

Iran has already begun investigating the death of Hamas Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh. The investigation is trying to identify all those who “showed negligence or knowingly collaborated with Israel.” Tehran says the latest attack has exposed serious intelligence gaps in Iranian security services.

By the way, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Iran is planning to attack Israel with drones. They could be launched from areas near Damascus and from the Syrian desert.
