The Ministry of Health will warn if there is a need for blood products
Head of the Ministry of Health Viktor Lyashko held an urgent meeting on assistance to victims of rocket attacks in Kremenchug.
It is reported that representatives of local medical services stressed that there are enough blood supplies in Kremenchug and the Poltava region.
Consequently, additional urgent donations are not needed.
The Ministry of Health noted that they are monitoring the situation, therefore, if necessary, an appropriate announcement will be made in blood products.
Russia shelled Kremenchug: what is known about enemy missile strike
- On the afternoon of June 27, the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile attack on the Amstor shopping and entertainment center in Kremenchug. President Volodymyr Zelensky published a video of the consequences of the horrific attack by the occupiers on social networks.
- The Ukrainian president condemned the bloody shelling by the Russian occupiers. The head of state said that at the time of the missile attack, there were about a thousand civilians in the shopping center.
- The Office of the President emphasized that there was no military facility in the mall.
- As of 21:11, 13 dead were known. Medical assistance was required for 59 victims. It was reported that 25 people were hospitalized.
- An enemy missile attack caused a large fire on an area of โโ10,000 square meters. To extinguish the fire, 115 rescuers, 18 pieces of equipment and one fire train were involved.
- The press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia had hit Kremenchug with Kh-22 supersonic cruise missiles. The invaders fired missiles from Tu-22 M3 long-range bombers. Enemy aircraft took off from the Shaikovka airfield, and the launches were carried out from the Kursk region.
- Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov wrote that Russia fired two missiles at Kremenchug. One of them hit the shopping center, and the other hit the city stadium.
- Many local residents arrived at the scene of the tragedy in Kremenchug. They are tearfully trying to find their relatives and loved ones, who were probably inside the mall at the time of the missile attack.
