Urban Cleanup to Be Held in Lviv/Channel 24 Collage
Lvivians are invited to the first urban cleanup. Residents of the city are invited to help clear the premises where a camp for displaced people will be set up.

Cleanup will take place in Lvov on August 12-14. It is organized by Street Culture & Urban Reform and the Danish street culture NGO GAME, informs channel 24.
Building the future camp
During the cleanup, people will clean up an area of 5,700 square meters. The townspeople will clean up the premises for the future camp for migrants.

The opening of the shelter is scheduled for early October. The new Urban Camp is the second such project from Street Culture & Urban Reform & Game, which has been hosting people in Lviv since March. More than 200 migrants from the battlefields have passed through it, and 35 people permanently live there – mostly families with children.

Another 100 residents will be able to live in the new shelter at the same time, then there are three times more than now. They will be able to zone different spaces and create separate locations for specific needs: communication, games, training, sports and recreation.

What the new shelter will look like
- Urban Camp will consist of several zones. On the ground floor, there will be a public space for children, recreation and games, a camp headquarters, as well as a kitchen and a laundry.
- The second floor will mainly be occupied by two types of living rooms.
- A common space will be located nearby and showers.
- For the leisure of residents, the camp plans to equip a courtyard and a large hall – it will host film screenings, concerts, performances and various sports events.
