Upgraded models: Iran showed the Fattah hypersonic missile and a new version of the Shahed

Iran is updating its weapons development. Recently, modernized models of several types of weapons were shown in the country.

Iran demonstrated modernized types of weapons of its own production. We are talking about the Fattah hypersonic missile and the Shahed UAV.

Characteristics of the new weapon

The upgraded missile and attack drone were shown at a military exhibition at the university of the aerospace unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Tehran.

Also on display at the exhibition was an upgraded version of the 9-Day missile defense system. It can launch short and medium range projectiles.

In addition, the Fattah missile is capable of moving at speeds of up to Mach 15 (5.1 kilometers per second) with a flight range of 1.4 thousand kilometers.

Iran has modernized drones and removed one of the characteristic features

• The developers have updated the kamikaze drones that Russia uses to terrorize peaceful Ukrainian cities. Now they probably won't make the characteristic sound. Now they will be equipped with turbojet engines and will not buzz like a moped.
• Footage of the test of the modernized drone is in the propaganda film, which will soon be shown to the Iranians. It will show the history of the creation of an attack unmanned aerial vehicle. It is noteworthy that they tried to make the film as epic as possible.
