Several thousand people remain in Irpin/glavred
And although there were active hostilities in Irpin, several thousand people remained in the city. They, according to Alexander Markushin, need to be taken out.
As the mayor of the city noted on the air of the Rada TV channel, several thousand people remained in Irpin. First of all, we are talking about those who live in the private sector.
People do not want to leave, but they are being persuaded
It is still unsafe in the city. The Ukrainian military continues to clean up, and also cannot guarantee that Russian mercenaries will not try to shell Irpen again. So the mayor of the city wants as many people as possible to be taken out of it.
According to Alexander Markushin, 3.5 thousand inhabitants remained in Irpin. They are mostly people living in the private sector.
They really don't want to leave. But we convince them that it is better for their safety that they leave the city,” he said.
At the same time, the mayor of Irpen noted that about 50% of the city was destroyed. And the situation itself is not yet stable, so he does not recommend returning to it yet.
