< p _ngcontent-sc86="" class="news-annotation">Unknown people in Leipzig, Germany tried to set fire to a kindergarten attended by Ukrainian kids. The incident happened on August 27th. Fortunately, the kindergarten was already closed.
According to preliminary data, the attackers at the entrance spilled a flammable liquid and then set it on fire. The flame managed to damage the door, but, fortunately, did not topple over the kindergarten.
In addition, a similar incident occurred on August 26 near the refugee house. It is located 700 meters from the kindergarten. Law enforcement officials do not rule out that there is a connection between these outrageous incidents.
The details were told by Tom Bernhardt, spokesman for the German criminal police state administration.
Due to spatial proximity, we do not exclude that there is a connection between these two attacks. Now we are studying the testimony of eyewitnesses, interviewing local residents, looking for camera recordings and checking social networks,โ Bernhardt said.
In Dresden on August 24, a large-scale action was held in support of Ukraine. Almost all the participants were dressed in black and held Ukrainian flags and the inscriptions “Ukraine needs your help”, “Freedom for the defenders of Mariupol” and “Ukraine is being killed.” From 300 to 500 people took part in the action.
In response, the Ukrainians organized a large-scale Thanksgiving Day.
