Unknown people staged a provocation in Transcarpathia. It was intended to worsen relations between Ukraine and Hungary.

Fake letters about financial assistance were forcibly mobilized in the Armed Forces

So, on e-mail addresses of the Transcarpathian media were sent out by unknown people provocative letters on behalf of representatives of the Hungarian national mixture. The Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine told about their content and why it was done.

They said, in particular, that “the Hungarian government decided to provide material assistance to the Transcarpathian Hungarians forcibly mobilized into the Ukrainian army “.

It is indicated that the key elements of this message wereethnicity and “forced mobilization”.

However, the Society of Hungarian Culture of Transcarpathia (TUKZ) subsequently refuted this statement and stressed that it did not disseminate information about the provision of financial assistance to certain categories of mobilized citizens. As emphasized in the department, provocative information was sent out by e-mail, similar to their official, but registered on a different domain name.

Warning! Such provocations are information terror and are aimed at worsening relations between Ukraine and Hungary in order to reduce the defense potential of our country. – noted in the CPI.
