Iran suddenly announced that it never approved of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This statement significantly deviates from the line it adheres to in relations with Russia.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the chairman of the OPU, told Channel 24 about this. According to him, Iran always works according to this principle.

As Podolyak noted, the president of Iran is a fairly nominal figure. All important decisions are made by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. And such a statement by the president of Iran is just a puff to earn extra money.

This helps Iran get additional money, which they spend on developing the military component of their economy. There is no need to believe in illusions here, – Podolyak said.

Iran gives away literally everything that Russia asks for. This includes drones, and the work of engineers, etc. There have already been reports of ballistic missiles from Iran. They are not at all interested in Russia losing the war.

Iran will do everything necessary to ensure that Russia either gets a pause in this war, or a soft capitulation from Ukraine. Then Iran will behave even more boldly. After all, Russia will invest much more money in this country. This will not only be a strategic partnership. This will be an alliance that will threaten world peace, Podolyak emphasized.

In early September, it became known that Iran had transferred short-range ballistic missiles to Russia. Iran, of course, brazenly denies that they did this. Earlier, they also denied deliveries of Shaheds to Russia.
