Russian invaders talk about the “restoration” of Mariupol, but in fact it is fake/2+2
Russian invaders are trying to create a picture of the “restoration” of Mariupol completely destroyed by them. But at the same time, they prefer not to spend money on it and build only in the places they need.

The city of Maria has been under Russian occupation for more than two months, but the invaders destroyed it so seriously that they still cannot solve any of the everyday problems of local residents. However, according to Channel 24 sources in the Ukrainian special services, neither the leadership of the so-called “republic” nor Moscow directly needs Mariupol as such.
The destruction of the city and the victorious inclusion of the tricolor on the ruins of Azovstal is an exclusively political “victory” for Putin. After all, Mariupol was razed to the ground solely to take revenge on the locals for 8 years of happy life under the control of Ukraine.
Mariupol remains a place of pain and suffering
- All statements by the leader of the militants Denis Pushilin and various propagandists about “turning Mariupol into a showcase” are aimed exclusively at an internal audience.
- For 2 months, the Russians were unable to provide people with water or food. The invaders were not even able to fully clear all the rubble and bury the civilians they killed. But the occupiers and local militants turned the burial process into a profitable business for themselves.
- A separate problem for the Russians after the capture of the city was the spread of various diseases. The Russians tried very hard to protect their personnel from mass infection with cholera and other infections. This is precisely what their forces were directed to “develop medicine” in Mariupol.
- However, if regular Russian soldiers in the city were at least somehow treated, all the help for ordinary civilians with any more or less deep cut consisted in the amputation of a limb. Because there was nothing to even treat a scratch with, and minor household injuries began to lead to gangrene and other diseases.
In fact, the Russians continued to clean up Mariupol from local residents after its capture, but only changed their approach to the bloody business. If earlier they destroyed people by bombardment, now they are starved and tortured in inhuman conditions. In addition, the invaders continue to take people out of the city to the Russian outback.
Mariupol remains a place of pain and suffering for Ukrainians who are forced to survive against all the attempts of the Russians. They catch pigeons, drink water from puddles, and do super-hard and dirty work without being able to earn even a penny.
Everything is being built for private money and for the sake of propaganda
Russian propagandists regularly make a bunch of stories about how “Russia is rebuilding Mariupol at a crazy pace.” However, one can talk about real recovery only in the case of the city port. For the invaders need it for a more effective robbery of Ukraine. Already on July 20, the invaders began to use the port of Mariupol to export Ukrainian grain, and even earlier, thousands of tons of steel were exported from it.
Another construction that is really being carried out in Mariupol concerns a new housing complex actually at the entrance to the city. Work there is carried out 24/7 for many reasons: the invaders want to show on TV how “Russia beautifully rebuilt Mariupol”, as well as to settle their military and civilians there.
The place where the houses are being built was chosen not at all by chance. After all, it is in this direction that the Ukrainian military can enter the city. In this case, the Russians want to destroy the new buildings in order to show how “Ukraine is bombing the Donbass”.
However, the most interesting fact is that all the “restoration” work is not carried out for money from the Russian budget. Kremlin criminals forced Russian private companies to build the residential complex at their own expense. Entrepreneurs who refuse such cooperation to the Putin regime are threatened with deprivation of licenses and permits to work in Russia. So we are not talking about any standards and quality of construction. For all the “restoration” of Mariupol by Russia is a sham.
