Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, as part of the Ukrainian delegation, held a meeting with the president and his counterpart from South Korea.

Umerov said that he held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Seok-yul, Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun and National Security Advisor Chang Ho-jin on behalf of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Umerov added that together with President Yun Seok-yul they discussed joint steps to strengthen security and stability.
— We believe that our arguments about the need to increase cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Korea will lead to a tangible strengthening of security for our peoples and regions, — he wrote.
