Ukrainians aged 25-60, who are currently in Germany and other countries, must report to the conscription centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2024, otherwise sanctions will be applied to them.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, writes Welt with reference to interview with WELT TV, newspapers Bild and Politico.
— Ukrainians living in Germany and fit for military service should strengthen the Ukrainian army next year. According to the Minister of Defense, sanctions will be applied to those who do not comply with this requirement, — he said.
It is noted that Umerov spoke about “invitation”, but made it clear that there would be sanctions if someone did not respond to this call.
