The difficult situation in the power system will persist at least until August-September, until the NPP power units are put into operation after repairs, and the summer heat will not subside.
A member of the supervisory board of NEC Ukrenergo, Yuriy Boyko, spoke about this during a discussion of the critical situation in the energy system at the Ukrainian Media Center.
According to him, this is the result of massive Russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities in March and April.

— It will not yet be possible to avoid planned outages, in particular, for household consumers. Ukrainians will have to get used to life under periodic power supply restrictions, — emphasized Boyko.
At the same time, he indicated that it is too early to give a full assessment of the damage caused. This is currently being done by specialists.
After their conclusions, it will be possible to build a strategy for restoring the energy system of Ukraine.
