Road workers have provided passage at 30 temporary crossings erected near bridges destroyed as a result of hostilities.

Initially, temporary structures are erected on the so-called “roads of life” to Chernihiv, Irpen, Bucha, Gostomel and Ivankov.

First Deputy Head of Ukravtodor Andriy Ivko spoke about this in his column.

According to him, about 300 bridges have now been destroyed in Ukraine. Specialists are trying to put them in order as soon as possible, but repair work can only be carried out after clearing the territories and coordinating with the military command.

Kyiv to Zhytomyr thanks to the bridge over the river Teterev. In total, three bridges were destroyed on the M-07 Kyiv-Kovel-Yahodyn road because of the war, Ivko said.

More than 700 kilometers of tracks were removed

Also, according to him, general cleaning of roads and cleared streets of Irpin, Bucha, Gostomel, Borodyanka, Vorzel, Gorenka, Makarov and Ozer from burned equipment and debris continues. More than 700 kilometers of tracks have already been removed.

“The cleaning of roads, the construction of temporary crossings, patching – all these works make it possible: to take the wounded to hospitals on time, evacuate people from shelling, deliver water and food to our citizens and medicines, transport goods and reanimate the country's economy,” the deputy head added. He noted that the road workers have been working for a month in the most difficult and dangerous conditions in the territories of the country liberated from the invaders. The next step will be the restoration of destroyed artificial structures in the temporarily remaining cut off regions.

Recall that earlier, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that one billion hryvnia was allocated from the reserve fund for the restoration of infrastructure in the liberated regions of Ukraine.
