Ukrainians warned about scammers under the guise of supposedly “Privatbank” and “Oshchadbank”

Online scammers send letters allegedly from PrivatBank and Sberbank/Channel 24 collage Human Rights Commissioner Lyudmila Denisova reported on new fraudulent schemes. Emails allegedly from Privatbank and Sberbank are sent to email boxes, which are actually aimed at stealing personal data or even funds from accounts.

In emails, users are asked to allegedly confirm a payment or to update accounts. Lyudmila Denisova urges not to open any links in such emails and not to download any attachments.

Lyudmila Denisova stated that she contacted the cyber police about this fraudulent scheme. In addition, the Commissioner for Human Rights urges not to open emails from the following email boxes:
