The joy of giving us the Leopard tank completely eclipsed another epochal shift. The German decision means that Berlin agrees that it is possible and even necessary to talk to the Russian regime from a position of strength.
Ukrainians did not notice the historic decision
This is the beginning of a move away from the mentality of “collective responsibility” for World War II. Not the end, but the very beginning.
This is no longer at the level of calls, but at the level of approval of decisions and actions. Against this background, the decision approved by Switzerland passed in passing. They lifted the ban on transferring us ammunition and weapons that we critically need.
After all, for example, the ammunition for the German Gepard tanks is Swiss-made. The Swiss have always adhered to the principle of neutrality in all wars. Switzerland has never been at war, so the success of its economic model was built precisely on this.
Kindness must be with teeth
Now those who violate international law do not deserve neutral treatment. Now the last European country has decided that Dobro must be toothy.
This is also a change of eras – and all because of our war with Russia. Without pathos – we are changing the world.
