Ukrainian resistance does not allow a referendum to be held in the Kherson region/Channel 24 collage
The Russian occupiers are not abandoning their attempts to create another quasi-republic on the territory of Ukraine. This time they are interested in the Kherson region. But, according to the GUR, Ukrainian resistance will break off these plans.
Before May 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin needs to show at least some kind of victory. Therefore, the infidels are not only trying to seize the territory of Donbass, but also to hold a referendum in the Kherson region.
It is important for Russia to turn the Kherson region into “KhNR”
In Russia, they will do everything possible and impossible to so that the referendum in the Kherson region still takes place.

He noted that such a step in Russia will be presented as one of the victories of the aggressor country on the territory of Ukraine. The next, in his opinion, may be Zaporozhye and Odessa regions. This is precisely the strategy that Putin continues to implement in the territories of countries that were once part of the USSR.
The same methods are used to achieve what was conceived. Initially, the Russian military occupy the territory. After that, strict control is established. In the captured settlements, a new government is even being established, albeit a puppet one. She, in fact, will carry out instructions coming from the Kremlin.
At the same time, they add to the GUR, in the Kherson region, Russia may not achieve its goals. And all because there is strong popular resistance in the region, as well as an active pro-Ukrainian position.
Actual news about the referendum in the Kherson region
Let's start with the fact that Russian infidels captured the Kherson region. In it, they plan to hold a referendum to turn it into the “Kherson People's Republic”. If at first it was said about April 24, then it was April 27, and later it became known that it would be held, but already within the limits from May 1 to May 10.
Infidels continue to spread misinformation among the local population. They are trying to convince the inhabitants of Kherson that it will be “impossible” to return it under the control of Ukraine. This is done in order to sow panic and encourage people to participate in the referendum.
At the same time, the partisans in Novaya Kakhovka are already leaving a message to the invaders. The townspeople emphasize that their position is pro-Ukrainian, and that no one in the city is going to become part of Russia.
It's a difficult story for infidels in Kherson itself. The Russian occupiers can never gather the number of people that would be enough for a television picture. It is not enough to hold a fake referendum, you also need to show that it happened. Since the inhabitants of the city express indignation and go out to protest, the invaders fail to do this.
Therefore, Russia is already thinking about alternative ways of separating territories from Ukraine. The idea of creating a quasi-education has already arisen. It should be called “Southern Russia”. But not everything is so simple here either, because whatever you call the republic, Ukrainians want to stay with Ukraine.
