Test flights of Ukrainian pilots on Gripen fighters have been completed in Sweden.
Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson announced this.
— Orientation training has been completed and according to the report I received from the Defense Forces, it went well — he emphasized.

Such training includes test flights on both aircraft and simulators, as well as briefings for ground personnel.
According to Jonson, Sweden does not rule out a transfer Gripen aircraft to Ukraine, “however, the experience gained during the training program should now form the basis for ongoing work to determine the conditions for this”.
In August it became known that two of our pilots were testing in Sweden there are Gripen aircraft and are studying all the possibilities for Ukraine to have this fighter in service in the future.
