Ukrainian parliament without pro-Russian politicians: Venislavsky named important conditions

by alex

Very soon, Ukraine will be cleansed of pro-Russian deputies. This is primarily necessary for the country's successful entry into the European Union.

About thisChannel 24Fyodor Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, a representative of the President in Parliament, said. According to him, the process has already been launched.

Parliament without traitors

Fyodor Venislavsky emphasized that he, like the vast majority of Ukrainian citizens, has an unbridled desire to purge parliament of pro-Russian forces and pro-Russian politicians.

After all, Ukraine has proclaimed itself a legal state and received the status of a candidate for EU membership,โ€ he explained.

In his opinion, Ukraine will receive EU member status in a year or two, so it must adhere norms of law and the Constitution.

“They provide for the grounds and procedure for the early termination of the powers of people's deputies of Ukraine,” said the presidential representative in parliament.

In particular, the process of “cleansing” the authorities has already begun. On February 23, the Verkhovna Rada supported the termination of the powers of People's Deputy Alexander Trukhin. A few more deputies are in line.

How the process will proceed

Fyodor Venislavsky added, regarding other representatives of the former pro-Russian political force banned by the court, many of them have actually lost their connection with the Ukrainian people and parliament.

According to him, we must follow the legal grounds that are provided .

If there are reasons for the loss of citizenship by these persons, then these issues will be considered accordingly. If there are grounds for terminating their powers due to the fact that they left for permanent residence outside Ukraine, this will also be considered,โ€ he noted.

In his opinion, these issues must be clearly legally worked out and impeccable in terms of both legal grounds and procedures.

“I think those structures, public authorities that should take care of these issues and establish the relevant legal facts, do this,” he explained.

Venislavsky noted that as soon as there are appropriate documents, the parliament will consider them and make absolutely legal, legitimate, lawful decisions.
