Technical teams managed to restore mobile communications of Ukrainian operators in temporarily occupied Kherson. However, the media subsequently reported that Vodafone's coverage had disappeared again.
Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Digital Finance Mikhail Fedorov reported on the resumption of communication. He noted that specialists went out several times to repair broken optical cables, but each time they had to return due to enemy shelling. /h2>
This morning we were able to restore the damaged optical network and launched the mobile networks of all three operators operating in the Kherson region. – wrote Fedorov.
The official said that as a result of the shelling, an optical cable was cut off, which went from the neighboring city to Kherson. After that, the base stations could not work. Specialists from lifecell and Kyivstar tested the network and managed to find the place of the break.

For the repair, it was necessary to coordinate the work of operators, ova and the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Only thanks to this, the technical team was able to work.
