Russia is trying to intimidate Moldova
The President of Ukraine believes that Russian troops permanently present on the territory of the temporarily occupied Transnistria are in constant combat readiness waiting for an order on top.

He added that the escalation of the conflict was discussed with the Prime Minister of Romania and his delegation.
“We clearly understand that this is one of Russia's steps… It is clear why – for the threats to Moldova – they show them that if Moldova supports Ukraine, there will be such or other steps,” Zelensky summed up.
