The President's Office noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Poland has provided our country with 44 military aid packages worth more than €4 billion.

This year, Poland will provide several more military aid packages and, according to the agreement, undertakes to continue supporting Ukraine for ten years document.

Poland will also consider the possibility of transferring to Ukraine at least one additional squadron of MiG-29 (at least 14 fighters).

— The document, for the first time among the already signed bilateral security agreements, provides for the possibility of intercepting missiles and drones in the airspace of our country fired in the direction of Poland, — the message says.

Also for the first time the security agreement talks about the creation of a Ukrainian legion — training of personnel of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Poland, which citizens of Ukraine temporarily residing in Poland and other countries will be able to join.

The agreement contains a block on cooperation in the defense industry, in particular the location of production of Polish defense companies in Ukraine and the study of additional opportunities for joint defense production. Warsaw will also continue to operate the POLLOGHUB logistics hub and use the potential of LitPolUkrbrig to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the document aims to strengthen cooperation in the non-military sphere, in particular in intelligence, cybersecurity, maritime and information security, and the protection of critical infrastructure.

Separate blocks of agreements concern economic recovery, border infrastructure and the development of transit potential. Political cooperation includes issues of European integration, implementation of the Peace Formula, sanctions, compensation for losses to Ukraine, as well as bringing the aggressor to justice.

After the meeting with Tusk and a joint press conference, Zelensky is scheduled to meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda.
