Ukrainian House became the best pavilion in Davos according to Politico. The publication preferred it to the Meta pavilion.

The Ukrainian House in Davos with the exhibition Deciding Your Tomorrow won the “Best Pavilion” category at the inaugural Davos Awards . It is presented by the local POLITICO team.

Zelensky's meetings during the Davos forum: major news

  • This year, World Economic Forum delegates met again in Davos, Switzerland, to discuss issues faced by the world and find a solution.
  • President Vladimir Zelensky met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on January 16 on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. During the meeting, the parties discussed further cooperation between Ukraine and the United States of America.
  • Zelensky also had a fruitful conversation with the President of Poland. They discussed bilateral relations, including interaction on the track of European integration of Ukraine. It is known that the parties coordinated their positions on the eve of the Washington NATO summit.
  • The head of state also said that he met with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. According to him, they discussed the key priorities of relations between Ukraine and the EU in the near future. He noted that they agreed to begin screening Ukrainian legislation.

Also on the morning of Tuesday, January 16, it became known about Zelensky’s arrival in Davos and a meeting with Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The Ukrainian leader stated that he discussed many important issues with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance:

  • the situation on the battlefield, the defense needs of our state;
  • further strengthening of the Ukrainian air defense system;
  • preparation for the NATO summit in Washington;
  • working with partners on security agreements within the framework of the G7 declaration, which will be in force until Ukraine joins NATO.
