On the night of May 11, Ukrainian drones attacked the Lukoil oil refinery in the Volgograd region in Russia.
This was reported by sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense in a comment to the publications Ukrinform and Suspilna noviny.

As a result of a drone attack on a Russian oil refinery, the AVT-1 and AVT-6 primary oil processing units were damaged. The information about the damage caused to these installations is currently being clarified.
At the same time, the control cable for the air coolers was damaged, resulting in the shutdown of seven refrigerators. The chimney of the P-1 furnace was also mutilated.
LLC Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka — it is the largest producer of petroleum products in the Southern Federal District in Russia. The plant's capacity is 14.8 million tons. The refinery belongs to PJSC Lukoil.
