American President Joe Biden paid an official visit to Poland. He visited the stadium where the Ukrainian refugees are.
Biden said this on March 26. He talked with Ukrainians.
“I saw tears in the eyes of mothers, I saw their children who did not know how to cry or smile. A little girl said in English:” Mr. President, will my brother and my dad?” Biden said.
Amazed by the generosity of the Poles
that native refugees remained in Ukraine to defend their home.He stressed that he did not even need to experience the emotions and pain of people who fled the war.
We all pray that the suffering will be temporary. That what they are feeling now, that this deep longing will leave them,” Biden said.
He added that he was amazed at the generosity of the people of Warsaw and all Polish citizens who open their hearts and homes for Ukrainians.
