Ukrainian detained in Slovakia for “preparing a coup”: deportation is being prepared Sofia Rozhik

Slovakia has been “dreaming” of a coup d'etat lately. Against this background, a Ukrainian citizen was allegedly detained in the country, who was preparing to “overthrow the Slovak government.”

Dennik N reports this with reference to the Slovakian police, 24 Kanal reports.

Preparation for deportation of Ukrainian from Slovakia

Preparation for deportation of Ukrainian from Slovakia is underway. According to the head of the Slovak police, Jana Maškarova, this should happen “as soon as possible.”

One person is currently in the custody of the border police for foreigners, where administrative expulsion is being carried out, she said.

By the way, the Slovakian Defense and Security Committee was supposed to hold a meeting on the report of the Slovak Information Service on the possible coup, but it never took place. They also planned to discuss the activities of the pro-Russian group “Brother for Brother.”

Recall that against the backdrop of declining trust among Slovaks in the government and protests against its pro-Russian course, Prime Minister Robert Fico began accusing Ukraine of “preparing a coup d'état.” As the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry noted, the Prime Minister and part of the Slovak government “were poisoned by Russian propaganda.”
