Russia has been waging war against Ukraine for a long time, and the fight against the aggressor continues not only physically at the front. However, despite the efforts, Putin will not achieve his global goals.
And also, despite the efforts of the invaders on various fronts, Ukraine will win. This was told by Major General, head of the SBU Vasily Malyuk.
Russia attacks not only on the battlefield
Recently, the occupiers have been trying to intensify their offensive and take back the territories reclaimed by Ukraine. However, Russia's threats are not only at the front. So, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the SBU:
- initiated more than 64,000 criminal proceedings against Russian forces, almost half of which are war crimes,
- exposed or detained 360 enemy agents.
Ukrainians also managed to repel thousands of cyber attacks, the number of which has increased. So, according to Vasily Malyuk, Russia carries out at least 10 cyberattacks a day. For example, if in 2020 the SBU recorded 800 cyber attacks, and in 2021 about 2,000, then after a full-scale invasion – more than 4,500. Moreover, hacker attacks were recorded along with missile strikes.
Now Russia carries out an average of more than 10 cyberattacks every day … They have different goals: state resources, critical infrastructure, etc. But we successfully counteract the enemy in cyberspace as well,” he said.
A simple message to Putin
However, despite all the efforts of Russia at the front, in cyberspace and inside Ukraine with the help of its agents, the major general is convinced that Ukraine will win. And at the same time, he emphasizes that, like any Ukrainian, he has no “illusions about Putin and his motives in this war.”
Therefore, my message (to him – Channel 24) is simple: you will never break or destroy us. We are fighting not only for the future of Ukraine, but also for the safe future of the entire civilized world,” said Vasily Malysh.
Latest arrests by the SBU
- On February 27, it became known that law enforcement officers of Ukraine neutralized the agents of the FSB, which acted in favor of Russia in the Odessa region. Moreover, it was possible to detain its organizer.
- Earlier, the SBU was able to detain a crime boss known as the “watcher” of Krivoy Rog. For almost 10 years, he terrorized the inhabitants of Krivoy Rog and the Krivoy Rog region, and also contacted representatives of the criminal environment in Russia.
- She exposed and arrested the SBU and a recruiter who recruited Ukrainian jailers in the Wagner PPK and promised them a monetary reward of 2,000 to 4,000 dollars a month. Now he faces imprisonment under the article on high treason.
