Denmark and the Netherlands have already begun the process of transferring F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, which will help defend against Russian attacks.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated this during the NATO forum organized as part of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit.
F-16 aircraft for Ukraine
— As we speak, the transfer of F-16 aircraft is currently underway, which are being sent from Denmark and the Netherlands. And these planes will be in the skies of Ukraine this summer, — stated the US Secretary of State.
According to Antony Blinken, F-16 fighters will fly in Ukrainian skies this summer. In his opinion, then Ukraine will be able to continue to effectively defend itself.
