Ukraine to Receive Air Defense Test Missiles from Estonian Company That Can Shoot Down Drones Victoria Kulzhenko

Ukraine has been receiving support from its allies since the first days of the full-scale invasion. Estonia has announced the transfer of air defense missiles.

Ukraine will receive air defense missiles from the Estonian defense company Frankenburg Technology for testing by the end of 2024. This was reported by Channel 24 with reference to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

The company's goal is to win the war

This was discussed at a meeting in Kyiv between Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Anatoly Klochko and the management of Frankenburg Technology.

The missiles that Ukraine will test are designed primarily to counter drones and are capable of shooting down targets at an altitude of up to 2 km.

Frankenburg Technology Executive Director Kusti Salm noted that the company's goal is to win this war.

For this, we offer a sample of a new inexpensive missile for shooting down air targets, primarily queue of unmanned aerial vehicles, – explained Salm.

According to him, if the testing of these missiles is successful, then production can be organized in Ukraine.
