The Cabinet of Ministers terminated the agreement with the Russian government on extending the life of the strategic missile system “Satan”. The reason is a change in the circumstances of his action.
This was told by the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk. An agreement to extend the service life was signed in 2006 in Moscow.
Ukraine will not serve the Russian missile system “Satan”
Melnichuk announced the termination of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Russian government to extend the life of the 15P118M Satan missile system.
The agreement has been terminated due to a significant change in the circumstances of its operation.
These changes exclude the maintenance of 15P118M strategic missiles in service in Russia by the main developer, namely the Yuzhnoye Design Bureau named after Yangel, and the manufacturer, the Yuzhnoye Machine-Building Plant named after Makarov.
