EU provided Ukraine with 120 million euros in grant aid/ARMYainform
The European Commission has provided a grant to Ukraine as part of a general package of emergency financial assistance to Ukraine.
The amount of assistance is 120 million euros, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported.
The money is provided to Ukraine on a gratuitous and irrevocable basis in accordance with the signed agreement on financing the “contract for the development of the state and strengthening of resilience”.
I am grateful to the European Union and the European Commission for the unwavering support of the Ukrainian people , for a deep understanding of the situation that has developed in Ukraine, and efficiency in decision-making, – Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko noted.
Finances will be directed to the general fund of the state budget and will be used to finance the main state expenditures. This includes, among other things, the costs associated with ensuring the social protection of citizens, the functioning of critical infrastructure and the security sector.
