The head of the Center for Military and Legal Research, Alexander Musienko, told Channel about this, noting that the occupiers have recently been using the Khalino airfield for landing.

Enemy airfields are the right target

As Musienko noted, Russian combat aircraft fly to Khalino to refuel. Then they fly again towards Ukraine and, in particular, drop KABs.

Of course, such strikes should rid Russia of such opportunities. They have arranged themselves in such a way that they fly up, refuel and continue flying with almost maximum comfort. It is necessary that the enemy does not have the opportunity to do this, – Musienko said.

Now it may be somewhat more difficult for the occupiers to do this. They will be aware that the airfield is in the affected area. This could prompt the occupiers to move their tactical aviation further into Russian territory.
