UN Secretary-General António Guterres said that Russia had committed “the most massive violations of human rights.” Ukraine is trying to collect evidence of all crimes.

This was told by the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk. He noted that for Ukraine, it was not just emotions that showed great importance to the world, but procedural evidence of Russia's illegal actions.

“We have opened more than 64,000 criminal cases related to Russian military aggression against Ukraine. More than 24,600 of them are based on violations of the laws and customs of war,” Malyuk said.

Fighting agents

The head of the SBU also said that one of the main areas of his work was the exposure of Russian agents. According to Malyuk, the SBU exposed or detained 360 enemy agents. The traitors included well-known figures such as Viktor Medvedchuk, a pro-Kremlin Ukrainian politician and personal friend of President Putin, as well as citizens gathering information about the location of Ukrainian troops.

For decades, Russia has been saturating our country with its agents in government, the church, and the military-industrial complex,” Malyuk said.

He added that the SBU was forced to “completely reorganize” to counter the threat, and the department's employees practically live at the front.
