Russia has done its best to plunge Ukraine into cold and darkness this winter. However, nothing came of the terrorist state.
If you delve into enemy propaganda, it reflects the real state of affairs in Russia and the effectiveness of their special operation. Thus, the enemy must at any cost achieve a delay, time to regroup, mobilize and pull up reserves. Political scientist Petr Oleshchuk told Channel 24 about this.
Terrorize people and ask for peace
As Oleshchuk noted, pseudo-peaceful rhetoric is actively used by Russian propaganda. Let us recall the theses on the ceasefire, negotiations and peace.
The Russians are well aware, Oleshchuk is convinced, that they cannot achieve any favorable results by military means.
“That is why, on the one hand, they are deploying terrorism against Ukrainian citizens – the destruction of critical infrastructure cannot be called otherwise. On the other hand, they start a propaganda balalaika that we must immediately put up, otherwise everyone will freeze, Europe will die of hunger and such nonsense,” Oleshchuk explained. .
He emphasizes that the fact that winter is over does not mean the end of rocket attacks and pseudo-peaceful propaganda. All this will continue in new formats and other speeches, with updated abstracts.
“What else can they invent? They will continue this story,” summed up the political scientist.
Attempts to disrupt the supply of weapons
- Russia is aware that there are few prospects on the battlefield. Consequently, she constantly talks about supposedly “openness” to negotiations.
