Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak talked to French TF1 journalist Darius Roshebin. In the conversation, the official, in particular, raised the topics of sanctions against Russia and elections in France.

Mariupol, sanctions, weapons and elections in France
Andriy Yermak told Roshebin that the Russians did not take Mariupol, but launched another fake about complete control over the city. The situation remains difficult, but the struggle for Mariupol continues. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders constantly communicate with the military command.
Regarding the presidential elections in France, Yermak expressed the hope that the country's support for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and our sovereignty would in any case continue and would only intensify, because the French people are on the side of Ukraine.
Together with meanwhile, the head of the President's Office noted the need for tougher anti-Russian sanctions on the part of Western countries. He recalled that the McFaul-Yermak group had prepared a plan that would be accurately applied in the sanctions packages against Russia. In particular, proposed :
- oil embargo;
- increased restrictions on the Russian banking sector;
- recognition of Russia as a country- sponsor of terrorism
In addition, Yermak stressed the need for Ukraine in heavy weapons, as well as what will allow our state to protect the airspace during constant bombing. However, in terms of weapons, we need tanks, anti-ship attacks, MLRS, etc.
