As part of the project to create an engine for the Turkish national combat aircraft KAAN, Ukraine is also ready to purchase these fighters to strengthen its position in the air.
The Ambassador of Ukraine in Ankara Vasily Bodnar spoke about this.
— We will not only buy it, but also use it. We also know where to use it — indicated by the diplomat.
According to him, the Turkish fifth-generation fighter KAAN can compete even with military aircraft of the American manufacturer.

KAAN Fighter — characteristics
Turkish developers have a goal to create a combat aircraft that will have low radar signature and high maneuverability. Production of the first MMU Block prototypes is planned to be completed by the end of 2026 and one Block I prototype by 2029.
It will have a modern optical-electronic location system and on-board radar.
The cost of the project could cost Ankara $10 million.
