Ukraine has received a clear signal from the European Commission that Kyiv is moving in the right direction towards the European Council decision to open negotiations on EU membership in December 2023.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba announced this to reporters in Brussels following negotiations at the European Commission. In particular, he has already met with several European Commissioners.
“I received a clear signal from the interlocutors who will make the final decision at the commission meeting. Ukraine is moving towards a decision by the European Council in December this year to open negotiations. “I want to emphasize this,” the Foreign Minister noted.
According to the minister, Ukraine will reach its goal in the absence of force majeure. According to him, Ukraine and the European Commission have the political will to achieve this result.
