He also added that IAEA experts should record a violation of nuclear and radiation safety standards and norms at the Russian occupation. “The position of Ukraine remains unchanged: the nuclear power plant must be immediately demilitarized, de-occupied and transferred under the full control of the Ukrainian government,” the speaker of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said once again.
He also called on the international community to increase pressure on Russia, up to:
- complete demilitarization and de-occupation of the nuclear power plant;
- as well as its return to Ukrainian control.
