Ukraine invited to NATO Council meeting

Ukraine was invited to the meeting of the NATO Council/illustrative photo from social networks meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of foreign ministers. Ukraine has received an invitation to participate in the event.

A meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the North Atlantic Council will take place at NATO Headquarters on April 6-7. The meeting is chaired by Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Speech by Ukraine

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was invited to take part in the first session on 7 April. He will be joined by colleagues from Australia, Finland, Georgia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Sweden.

The meeting will also be attended by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy or the Vice President of the European Commission. It is also reported that participants will be able to attend via a video link.

The detailed program of the NAC meeting will appear on the NATO website on April 5.
