Ukraine intensifies attacks in occupied territories and in the Russian Federation – ISW

Analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) see signs of increased attacks from Ukraine on Russian occupation targets.

Signs of intensifying attacks on Russian targets

We are talking, in particular, about the attack of Ukrainian partisans on the Russian military headquarters in the still occupied Melitopol, Zaporozhye region on November 11.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, then the partisans managed to eliminate at least three employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia and the National Guard.

By the way, this happened just three days after the attack on the “former head of the people’s militia” of the so-called LPR .

Three strikes on the occupiers’ rear and partisan attacks in Russia on November 11 also did not go unnoticed by the ISW.

Two days earlier , a Russian military base in occupied Skadovsk, Kherson region, and Black Sea Fleet assets in Crimea were under attack .

ISW reminds: the Ukrainian strike campaign is aimed at occupied Crimea from the summer of 2023.

“So recent events indicate that Ukraine appears to be intensifying attacks on the Russian army, its logistics and other assets in the rear areas of occupied Ukraine, as well as in Russia,” American analysts conclude.

The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for 628 days.
