Ukraine has strengthened security measures on the border with Belarus and Moldova/State Border Guard Service
The State Border Service, along with other defense forces, are carrying out enhanced security measures at the border. We are talking about sections with Transnistria and Belarus.
According to the press secretary of the State Border Guard Service, Andrei Demchenko, this is necessary in order to prevent escalation in these areas.
“We stand together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other components of the security and defense forces and are ready to take measures if these Enemies will try to invade the directions,” Demchenko said.
What is the situation in the regions liberated from Russia
He said that after Russian troops were forced to withdraw from Kievskaya under pressure from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Ukrainian border guards returned to carrying out control measures abroad.

In the Kharkiv region and in southern Ukraine, border guards, together with the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and units of the Territorial Defense take part in hostilities against the enemy .
“A few days ago, in Mariupol, one of our officers, covering the withdrawal of his group, was already surrounded, wounded, so that the enemy would not get a radio station and, not trying to be captured, blew himself up. The last the words on the radio station were the words “Glory to Ukraine!”, Demchenko added.
According to the State Border Service, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, 3 million citizens of Ukraine and about 350 thousand citizens of other countries have left Ukraine for the EU and Moldova .
