Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that our country needs more than a hundred aircraft to counter Russian aviation. According to him, Ukraine has only a quarter of the necessary air defense systems.
He stated this in an interview with AFP.

โ Today we have about 25% of what we need to protect Ukraine. I'm talking about air defense, — Zelensky said.
The president also said how many modern aircraft are needed to combat the constant air and ground attacks of the enemy.

— To prevent Russia from having an advantage in the air, our air fleet must include 120-130 modern aircraft… to protect the sky from three hundred (Russian, — Ed.) aircraft, — Zelensky said.
He noted that fighters are needed to “have parity” with Russia.
Recently, the head of the Danish government, Mette Frederiksen, announced that F-16 fighters from Denmark will be in Ukraine within months.
