Russia has begun attacking our territories with Iranian Shahed-136 drones. However, their Ukrainian defenders also learned to shoot down.

- electronic warfare equipment, which make it possible to create serious interference with radio signals and suppress the ability to fly drones, including Russian ones;
- anti-drone guns and others that actually disconnect the drone from the operator – it becomes invisible, it can be landed or take control.
- electronic intelligence equipment, which allows you to capture everything that happens around and make radio interception;
- EW, which create obstacles for the flights of Ukrainian drones and not only;
- radar, which shows everything that happens in the air – this opens up additional opportunities for the use of Ukrainian aviation and our drones.

“Any strike drone is large, carries ammunition, has a diesel or gasoline engine, visible on thermal sensors. This is a plus. Shahed-136s are noticeable, they can be shot down, which is done,” Musienko noted.

Therefore, it is impossible to completely eliminate the risks from them. “However, this is not some kind of weapon that can radically affect the course of hostilities and change the nature of warfare. Not at all. We see in practice how many of them are shot down,” Musienko added.

The military expert stressed that Israel knows how to counter Iranian drones. They recently had clashes in the Haifa area, where Israel is developing gas fields.
