Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine could increase its own production of unmanned aerial vehicles many times over, but does not have the appropriate funds in the state budget and needs financing.
He said this at a press conference within the framework of the fourth summit of the international Crimean platform on Wednesday, September 11.

— Of course, drones are very helpful. And this helps to save our people, our soldiers first of all. But we need money to increase our production. We have these capabilities, — Zelensky said at a press conference within the framework of the Crimean Platform in Kyiv on Wednesday.
The head of state noted that he raised this issue at the 24th meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine, which took place at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

Earlier, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported that over the past two years, the production of Ukrainian drones has increased 100-fold.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation said that during the full-scale war, Ukraine created and developed the UAV market from scratch. It all started with the Drone Army, which gave rise to the development of the entire defense-tech direction.
Domestic FPV drones, long-range, reconnaissance and other types of drones are already being used by Ukrainian defenders on the front lines.
