Lieutenant General Alexus Grinkevich, who has been nominated by the United States to be NATO's top commander in Europe, is convinced that Ukraine is capable of winning a war against Russia.

“Senator, I believe Ukraine can win,” said the US Air Force lieutenant general.
“I think when your homeland is under threat, you fight with a tenacity that is hard for us to imagine, because we have never been in such a situation,” he added.
Let us recall that in early June, President Donald Trump officially nominated Grinkevich for the post of Supreme Allied Commander Europe.
The lieutenant general will also lead the U.S. European Command.
His statements during the Senate hearings are somewhat at odds with the current official position of the Trump administration, which emphasizes the absence of a military solution to the conflict and advocates for an “agreement” between the parties.
