"Ukraine attacked Russia": why would Putin need an airstrike on Belgorod

Zhdanov commented on the explosion in Belgorod/Collage of Channel 24

The Russian side calls the explosions at the oil depot in Belgorod an “offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”. Such provocations are obviously beneficial for the Russian authorities.

This was stated on Channel 24 by military expert Oleg Zhdanov.

The fictitious “offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” by Russia, in particular, alleged shelling from helicopter by the Ukrainian forces of the oil depot in Belgorod, may become a prerequisite for the introduction of martial law on the territory of Russia. In turn, this will imply a general mobilization.

Zhdanov explained that such provocations, for example, explosions in Belgorod, are created by the Russian authorities in order to begin a general mobilization. The enemy army is not strong enough.

At the same time, enemy troops are being rotated in some directions. According to a military expert, the withdrawal of troops from the Kiev and Chernihiv directions is really taking place, however, the forces are withdrawn only in order to relocate to the Donbass.
