In one of the military units of Ukraine, weapons and property provided by American partners were checked.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the inspection was carried out by the Internal Audit Service and representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the Department of Defense Cooperation of the US Embassy.
This is the first such joint inspection of representatives of Ukraine and the United States.

What was checked at the military unit
Ukrainian and American inspectors checked three main items that relate to weapons and property. Among them — serial numbers, technical condition, proper storage conditions (safety and security).

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that information is currently being processed, and during joint work there were no comments from US representatives.
The Ministry of Defense claims that joint inspections on the end use of weapons provided by partners will continue in the future.
The concept of end-use partner country self-reporting was initiated and signed by the Department of Defense at the end of November 2023. The Ukrainian and American sides agreed on a plan for joint physical inspections for the first half of 2024.
