Ukraine received 15 fire engines UK. Therefore, our employees of the State Emergency Service will have even more opportunities to save Ukrainians.
This is not the only help that Ukraine received from the United Kingdom. It also handed over other fire and rescue equipment that can help save more than one life.
Ukrainian firefighters received help from the UK
Thus, Ukrainian rescuers received 15 fire engines, 2 trucks with thermal imagers , generators, lighting systems, hoses, PPE kits, as well as an incident response unit, a hydraulic rescue platform and mechanical support equipment.
Relevant assistance was transferred to Ukrainian rescuers thanks to the charity organization FIRE AID, the National Council of Fire Leaders ( NFCC) and the efforts of the UK Firefighters Association. The government of the country also contributed financially to this, as well as donations from the public.
