For the first time since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2024, the final of the Ukrainian Cup was held. In the main match Poltava Vorskla and Donetsk Shakhtar met.

The Ukrainian Football Association reported that all proceeds from ticket sales, namely 1.4 million UAH, are donated to the rehabilitation of the military.

The match brought together more than 700 thousand fans. The broadcast on the ICTV2 channel attracted more than 500 thousand viewers, took third place in the slot among programs of all TV channels and entered the top ten best programs of the day.
Broadcast on YouTube channels Facts ICTV and ICTV2 collected more than 216 thousand views. More than 3,500 fans watched the big final live at the Avangard stadium in Rivne.
Shakhtar won the Ukrainian Cup final, which took place on May 15, beating Vorskla with a score of 2:1.
What is known about RECOVERY
RECOVERY — a national network of rehabilitation centers for wounded military personnel. The project was founded by Victor and Elena Pinchuk to help the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Today, 12 RECOVERY rehabilitation centers provide high-quality free services in Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Vinnitsa, Cherkassy, Poltava, Khmelnitsky, Odessa (two institutions) and in the Dnieper region (three institutions).
In total, more than 10 thousand patients have already received rehabilitation assistance in the centers of the national network. The founders of the RECOVERY project plan to expand the network to at least 18 innovative rehabilitation centers, where about 25 thousand military personnel can recover annually.
