Children were injured as a result of a missile attack on Chortkiv/Collage of Channel 24
< strong _ngcontent-sc130="">As a result of a missile attack on Chortkiv, in the Ternopil region, more than 20 people were injured. Among them are children pulled out from under the rubble. 10 ambulances arrived at the scene after the explosion.
Two minors were found under the rubble, local authorities say. One child had to get stitches.
Wounded locals were not seriously injured
Fortunately, the devils were not seriously injured. All victims are civilians. Rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble that caused the rockets. Pyrotechnicians and employees of the State Emergency Service worked all night.
Rockets damaged the gas pipe
The city council noted that the missile strike also damaged the gas pipe. It was because of the gas leak that the fire started, which was quickly eliminated. However, the city had to temporarily turn off the gas supply. It was supposed to be resumed by lunchtime on June 12.
Currently, the authorities are recording the size and extent of the damage that the enemy inflicted on the settlement. People whose houses were damaged will be temporarily relocated.

What is known about the rocket attack on the Chortkiv community
- Explosions were heard in Chortkiv around 22:00. Before that, sirens were heard almost throughout Ukraine, warning of the threat of rocket attacks.
- Already in the morning, the Ternopil police station reported the destruction of a military facility and 4 residential buildings.
- The number of victims reached more than 20 man, among them were children. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
- The head of the Ternopil police Alexander Bogomol said that there were no weapons at the object that the Russians were aiming at. Therefore, this strike is regarded as directed against the civilian population.
