Two Ukrainians were killed with a knife in Murnau, Germany. Law enforcement officers detained a suspect – he turned out to be a Russian citizen.
The man was detained the same evening when he was at home. At the same time, the motives of the attacker are unknown, the police are investigating the case.
Details of the murder
On Saturday, April 27, two men were found with stab wounds in a shopping center in Murnau, Germany. According to law enforcement officials, the 36-year-old victim died on the spot from severe injuries. Another 23-year-old man was taken to the nearest hospital, but immediate resuscitation measures did not help save the victim – he died that same evening.
The police promptly arrived on call and immediately began search activities. Soon, a 57-year-old suspect was detained near the crime scene at his home address. It turned out that he is a citizen of Russia.
The criminal police began investigating the double murder. The attacker's motives are currently unknown. A preventive measure will be chosen for the suspect on April 28, the prosecutor's office is asking for detention.

Other murder cases
- A 23-year-old teacher was detained in the Zhytomyr region and is suspected of killing and wounding former school students. A man and two minors had a conflict, as a result of which a 17-year-old boy died and his peer friend was hospitalized.
- In the Kharkov region, police detained a man suspected of murder of his daughter and wife. The man shot his relatives with a gun and hid for about a day. The attacker was hiding on the roof of one of the hostels.
- At the same time, the investigation into the murder of a policeman in the Vinnytsia region continues. Law enforcement officers managed to expose the military who helped the suspects escape. They did this at a time when the identities of the likely killers were already known. One of the military men handed over a car to escape abroad, and the other went to pick up international passports and a mobile phone.
